Uhuru Tech Launches Refresher App to Boost Student Success in Liberia
Uhuru Tech Solution, a Liberian digital company, in partnership with the Liberia National Student Union (LINSU) and the Liberia Information Technology Students Union (LITSU), has officially launched a Refresher App designed to support senior high school students in Liberia.
The app aims to educate and empower students to successfully pass the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and Mock Exams. The launch ceremony took place on Monday, November 3, 2025, at Don Bosco School in Sinkor, drawing students, educators, and key policy stakeholders.
During the official unveiling, Foldestine Paye, Executive Director of Uhuru Tech Solution, expressed deep appreciation to the development team for their innovation and dedication. He emphasized that the Refresher App will provide students with essential learning materials and training resources to enhance their academic performance.
“Every year, thousands of Liberian students sit for the WASSCE and Mock Exams—critical assessments that determine their access to higher education, scholarships, and career opportunities,” Paye stated. “Unfortunately, many fail not due to a lack of intelligence or determination, but because they lack the necessary tools and resources. This app is designed to change that.”
Paye believes the Refresher App will be a game-changer for students, school administrators, and parents, helping to improve outcomes in national examinations.
Also speaking at the event, LINSU President James Washington praised the initiative and encouraged schools and parents to embrace the platform. He pledged that LINSU will provide training to ensure widespread student success in upcoming public exams.
