MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT - LIBERIA NATIONAL STUDENT UNION (LINSU)

Fellow Students of Liberia,

On behalf of the Liberia National Student Union, I extend my warmest greetings to all students across our beloved country—those in primary and secondary schools, technical and vocational institutions, and our colleges and universities.

Today, I speak to you at a critical moment in our nation’s history, a time when the voices of young people must rise with clarity, unity, and purpose. As students, you are not only the heartbeat of our educational system but also the torchbearers of Liberia’s future. Your resilience, creativity, and determination continue to inspire hope across our communities.

LINSU remains unwavering in its commitment to defend your rights, advocate for quality and accessible education, and ensure that every student—regardless of gender, background, or county—has the opportunity to learn in a safe and supportive environment. We are engaging with national leaders, partners, and stakeholders to address the challenges confronting students, from tuition concerns and learning materials to campus safety and the improvement of school infrastructure.

But while we continue to advocate on your behalf, we also call on every student to uphold discipline, academic excellence, and peace. Our strength lies in our unity, and our progress depends on our collective commitment to the values that build strong institutions and a strong nation.
